How Do I teach my dog to give paw?
And how long will it take for my 5 month puppy to understand commands, so far im teaching her sit and jump. Also I have seen people who can get their dog to lift their paw and then shake it, how can this be done?
Ok so i try to lift my dogs paw, but for some reason she doesnt back away but starts biting my fingers untill i put my hand down, is this to do with the whole dominance thing, or do you think her paw hurts?
I’ve been wondering how to do this forever. I actually tried what the first answerer said for like 2 yrs now, nothing has happened, despite my dog getting heavier from all the treats. =/

I doubt her paw hurts when you’re doing that. my dogs start licking my hand when im holding their paw up. i think its just because they’re thinking “what are you doing with my paw” they get a little uneasy. but with practice she’ll probably get used to it.
